QuickStart Setup for Magento 1.7.0 *

I have three questions.

#1. QuickStart Install is to get the site to look exactly as in the demo, right?
That is with the images and the data etc.

Yes, the quickstart + sample data installation process is to install your theme to resemble the demo version. However, many of the images used within the demo version may not be included with the theme download, as some of the images are individually licensed by JoomlArt and are not allowed to be distributed with the download packages. In most cases, placeholder images are provided in place of those licensed images.

#2. Where can I find documentation on how to install QuickStart.?

#3. For the theme JM Monsieur, I did not see a QuickStart zip file.
In the ‘quickstart’ folder I see one file "jm_monsieur_magento18.zip".
I am guessing this is for Magento 1.8
I have Magento 1.7.0 *
Please suggest if it can be used for Magento 1.7.0 *

There is a download package for JM Monsieur for Magento 1.7. It is 3rd down on the list on the JM Monsieur download page.

Regarding #2.
It looks like Quick Start is the whole package that includes Magento installation (not just product data and images).
I already have Magento installed.
I just wanted to populate it with the categories, products and pictures.
Is that still possible considering I already have a Magento installed?
All I want is the template with the product data.

The 3rd item in the list was "JM Monsieur Theme Magento 1.7 (2.79 MB)" or Type "mage_tpl" and dated 1-03-2013.
When downloaded the package was called jm_monsieur.v1.0.1.zip
Is this package also a QuickStart package, or is it only a template?

jm_monsieur_magento18.zip in the QuickStart folder is 34,768 KB
jm_monsieur.v1.0.1.zip (the 3rd file you pointed out) is only 2,859 KB.
The latter does not look like a Quick Start package.

yes, the quickstart is the whole package that includes magento installation, if you have magento installation already you should then install the theme only (the mentioned 3rd file) and then add product data manually.
